iPhone Owners Can Now Calibrate TV, Speakers And Other Hardware
The name THX fundamentally linked to sound and surround systems is now offering free iOS app for calibrating home entertainment systems. The iOS utility app is called THX tune-up and helps you calibrate your TV, speakers, and other high-tech equipment to obtain the best quality home entertainment experience.
The calibration tool by THX consists of options that will ensure your TV image quality is the ideal, by using your room illumination into factor to assist you select the best contrast, aspect ratio, color and brightness. The THX app can also be used to set speakers to get the best sound quality and make sure they are and working properly, and to calibrate the speaker phase.
Once the app is launched, you’ll have to provide a number of information related to your TV and sound equipment, like the type of screen, speakers, and the way you intend to attach the application to your machines. It is possible to connect the THX app to the devices with your Apple TV, HDMI, Component or VGA.
The iOS app also provides a few extras, such as the Deep Note, that can be used to exhibit your expensive and powerful speakers, feature for posting your queries to THX, and a fun stuff called THX Moo which will produce the sound of a cow mooing each time the phone is rotated.
