Both iPhone 5 and iOS 6 untethered jailbreak are only initial code execution away as confirmed by top two hackers currently working on the tool. The leading developers Planetbeing and Pod2g have teamed up to tame the new iPhone running the iOS 6. The latest tweet coming from this team indicates that they are on the right path and we may receive the good news soon.

As outlined by the tweet from Planetbeing, he along with Pod2g were busy finalizing a working iOS 6 untethered jailbreak:

Made some nice progress today with @pod2g. I think I’ll try to reward myself with a nap.

In response to the above message, Pod2g tweeted the following, verifying that he as well is currently working on the iPhone 5 untethered jailbreak:

@planetbeing oh yeah! 2 new vulnerabilities in a day, chance was with us. But we still miss that initial code execution for a public jb :/

As you will notice the latest tweets implies that they are already in procession of the tool, but only thing missing is an initial code execution, which is required for a public release. The news that both the hackers are working together as a team is great as they have previously proved their abilities in jailbreaking the iOS.

Only couple of months back Pod2g made everyone happy by announcing that he had managed to get “partial injection data,” that would have been a strong push on the way to iPhone 5 jailbreak, but Apple patched vulnerability. On the other hand, Planetbeing validated that he has iPhone 5 jailbroken running iOS 6.
