One Of The Best Android Launcher App Just Got Lot Better: Jelly Bean Optimized
One of the most popular Android third-party app launchers in the Google Play store is the Apex Launcher that along with NOVA Launcher is considered as the top apps in that section of applications. If feedbacks from some of our readers are taken into account, then between both Android launchers, Apex offers a bit smoother experience.
Now, the developer behind the Apex has just released an all-new Apex Launcher based on Jelly Bean’s code, though the version is still Beta 1.3.0, but it will add significant performance upgrades with a collection an added feature. The beta version is quite stable and offers the same smooth feeling with improved speed, evident when navigating across the UI.
The list of features includes the following as mentioned by the developer.
- Everything instantly moves to make room while placing widgets on the screen,
- Android widgets resize automatically to fit on the home screen
- Delete widgets and app by simply throwing them to the side of the homescreen
- New animations for application exit and entry
Among the list of enhancements the most notable are the speed boost, adding widgets and icons and the new 7-inch layout for the Nexus 7 tablet.
