The legal battle over design and patents between Apple and Samsung is raging for months without any clear outcome, and most of the readers are now tired of the updates. Now, a popular standup comedian has added a funny angle to the boring legal battle in his chat show.
Conan O’Brien exhibited the clip below on his chat show, bringing the months old battle into the living room, but highlighting the lighter side of the story. For months, Apple and its legal team is trying its best to prove that the Korean smartphone maker infringed the patents and deliberately copied iPhone and iPad.
Conan made fun of Samsung’s claims that their designs are not inspired by iPhone and iPad. The comedian also ran a mocking video, supposedly produced by Samsung, with a fake company spokesperson copying famous designer Jony Ive. In the video, the spokesperson is shown inviting shoppers to visit a Samsung store to meet a Samsung Smart Guy.
