Pebble: An iPhone-Connected Wristwatch To Be Launched This Fall
Today, we have gone through a latest Kickstarer Project to launch an iPhone connected wristwatch, which will be capable of doing much more than just telling you time or day. If you want to give it a correct name, it can be called as smart watch. Te real name given to this upcoming watch is Pebble. As per te reports, Pebble will be a completely customizable wristwatch.
Pebble will be able to connect with your iPhone or even with Androids using the bluetooth. Once connected, using your wrist watch you will be allowed to pull various information from your iPhone. This information can be caller ID, email, calendar alerts, Facebook messages and Twitter notifications and much more. The wrist watch will not limit here, rather there will be the opportunity for the third-party developers to add more kinds of functions using SDK.
Here, we have the types of the alerts that Pebbel can pull out from the iPhones:
- Incoming Caller ID
- Email (Gmail or any IMAP email account)
- Calendar Alerts
- Facebook Messages
- Weather Alerts
- Silent vibrating alarm and timer
- if this then that notifications
Once launched, the Pebble wrist watches or say the smart wrist watches will be available in 4 colors, arctic white, jet black, cherry red and one is to be decided. The Pebble wristwatch is expected to hit the stores this fall.
