Samsung Galaxy S II Vs iPhone 4S: Which Is The Best Phone 2011
Best phone of the year award announced by Pocket-Lint gives Samsung a clear reason to celebrate the unthinkable. First time in the history of the battle of the superphones an Android phone has beat Apple iPhone. The website announces every year the best in the category awards for gadgets and phones released in that particular year.
The Samsung Galaxy S II beating iPhone 4S may sound shocking, but as the winner came months before the iPhone 4S, the figure has obviously given the Korean phone an unfair advantage. However, if you can ignore the poor battery performance of the new iPhone 4S due to faulty iOS 5 firmware, then we at Areacellphone are more than convinced that iPhone 4S is the best phone of 2011.
Pocket-Lint’s award for the best phone 2011 involved the process that finalized five smartphones for the title, and the best out of the five was then chosen by the panel of judges comprising of members of British newspapers, news websites and television channels.
As mentioned above the title for Best phone for the 8th Annual Gadgets Awards goes to the Samsung Galaxy S 2, beating iPhone 4S and other Android phones and WP7 handset, including HTC Sensation, Nokia Lumia 800 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray.
