Jailbreakers are enjoying almost every possible app and service without getting identified or blocked, but still there are a few exceptions that do identify a jailbroken handset and block user from accessing it. Apple tried and failed every time to put an end to the jailbreaking phenomenon, but it has managed to create apps that recognize a jailbroken handset when installed via iTunes.

However, Cydia has now deviced an app that can even bypass such restrictions allowing you to enjoy your phone like a non-jailbreak user. The app called xCon tackles the issue by using an ingenious idea. The app is absolutely free, and currently offer the trick for only the following applications, but you can expect more to come from the developer.

  1. Bloomberg Anywhere
  2. Cablevision
  3. Cisco M-Learning
  4. DirecTV for iPad
  5. Grimm’s Fairy Tales
  6. Time Warner Cable
  7. Verizon On Demand /FlexView

The application is based on a trick, which is sandboxing the applications into its own memory space, and hence blocking the apps from detecting jailbreak. However, developer avoided explaining the whole process considering the Apple may release an update to make the trick unusable.

If your app is not included in the list given above, then you can also request the developer to add your desired application by sending him a personal email to n00neimp0rtant@me.com. As already mentioned the developer is already working to bring more apps into the net, so you may receive your own even before you start composing.

The xCon is free to use Cydia app available via ModMyi repo.
