Apple is already testing the new iPhone 5 and this time the handset is going to get the processing boost from a Quad-core processor. The news first came from a German gadget site dedicated to Mac, as customers on iPhone 4S are simply desperate to break loose of the iPhone 4 tag, this latest report will surely help me get better sleep.

The mac based site actually released two new iPhone 5 reports, one reveals that Apple has already started testing quad-core handset, and second news is about the iPhone 5 display which is 720p screen with 1280×720 pixels. However, the second part of the news is creating doubt over the entire news report as Apple does not require to release an upgraded display when it already has the edge with Retina Display on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

However, Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note getting ahead in the recent marketing survey may force Apple to come out with better processor and a display that can beat the competition for the next twelve months. Hence, the iPhone 5 may shock everyone in 2012 with Retina Display that supports resolution of 1440×800 packed inside the 3.7-inch screen.
