Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners are more than satisfied with their new Google phone except for the speaker volume, which is somehow not as loud as desired. The problem is most likely not a bug but intentionally judged by the manufacturer as the optimal.

However, you can now get your phone’s volume cross the default limit by simply installing an Android app, which is getting five-star ratings for the improvement it adds to the Galaxy Nexus.

The application is named as Volume+ and after getting installed, shows the effects immediately, and will increase the volume of your Android phone. The initial comments and reviews are very encouraging.

The app is available in both paid as well as free version. Paying $1.62 for the full version is nothing considering the required volume boost it provides to your expensive Android phone.

The following is the the excerpt from the developer’s page regarding issues and progress involved with this top Android app for the Galaxy Nexus.

This Application is ONLY for phones running Gingerbread.

It will NOT work on any other version of Android but should work on ANY phone running Gingerbread (2.3).
