iPhone N94: 8GB Version Of iPhone 4 Spotted Labeled
Apple iPhone 5 is also going to have a junior companion, which is expected to be an iPhone 4 8GB. However, the new leaked spare part is indicating that Apple has even named it as an iPhone N94.
The new iPhone N94 will be a cheaper version of Apple phone mainly designed to take over the mid ranged smartphone market, currently dominated by the Android phones. The iPhone N94 with low storage space will rely heavily on the newly launched iCloud services.
The name iPhone N94 is derived from the engraving on the newly leaked front panel of the cheaper iPhone 4. The photos appeared on the Macpost also claimed that:
“The LCD part is clearly labeled as N94 “EVT1? (Engineering Verification Testing) with date ’03-March-2011?. Whilst, the white front cover posted few days back was labeled “EVT2? with date ’07-June-2011?. Since these are marked as N94 EVT1, the images are definitely of next generation model.”
Coming back to the iPhone 5 news, the phone is most likely will have a metal chassis with a new Retiina Display 2, twice the pixels on iPhone 4. However, iPhone N94 or iPhone 4S will have everything same as that on the iPhone 4, with less internal memory and wider screen. It will not be an entirely retooled iPhone 4, but user will enjoy the new wider screen and slightly changed home button.
