Cydia iOS 5 Widget For iPhone Brings SBSettings To Notification Center
The first Cydia iOS 5 Widget is now available for devices running the new firmware. The Cydia Widget developed by 14-year-old developer qwertyoruiop is actually SBSettings mod named UISettings. The UISettings is simpler and easier than SBSettings itself and nicely integrates with the newly launched iOS 5 feature called Notifications Center.
If you are new to jailbreak and iPhone then the SBSettings is a jailbreak app that allows users to access basic settings without having to navigate each time to the System Preferences.
UISettings is the first third-party iOS 5 widget, coming from Cydia and utilizes the new Notifications Center. Once installed the new iOS 5 Widget will appear right above the notifications themselves and you can easily turn on or off your iPhone’s basic features like WiFi, Bluetooth and Airplane mode. You can even re-spring the phone, shut down, reboot it and even adjust the screen’s brightness.
The Cydia Widget requires you to jailbreak iOS 5, which is currently possible only via Redsn0w that also is tethered. After jailbreaking you can update your Cydia resources by adding the following URL: http://qwertyoruiop.com/beta.

Apple is now out of ideas and clearly borrowing new ideas from hackers and its competitors. Now, iPhone 5 will decide the fate of the company as Android has already captured gamers with Xperia Play and Tegra 2 phones.
ios 5 widgets are still not visible and I think it will be different from widgets on android.
I am waiting for the final version of iOS 5. Once Comex decides to release an untethered iOS 5 jailbreak I will try the new Cydia apps for iOS 5
Comex works at Apple now. It’s all up to the rest of the guys like iPhone Dev and Chronic Dev…
