Geohot LimeSn0w Will Unlock Baseband 02.10.04 And 05.14.02
Geohot may have angered the hacker community with the Limera1n but his future baseband unlocking plans will surely get a good response from the iPhone community. According to the latest reports, the hacker has already registered a domain limesn0w.com, which will host the unlocking tool for baseband 02.10.04.
LimeSn0w as the name suggests will address the baseband 02.10.04 and 05.14.02 which is currently unlockable. LimeRa1n took 6 months to develop, but we hope LimeSn0w will take weeks only week as there are many who are now stuck with locked iPhone 4 and 3GS.
LIMESN0W.COM will now compete with Clayton’s and iPhone Dev Team’s Sherif Hashim’s baseband exploits. Unlike Chronic Dev Team, I am sure iPhone Dev Team will bring out the ultrasn0w first.

I have a Iphone running baseband 02.10.04 and I have been following the supposed release of Limesnow and the Dev Team release of there unlock for some time and yet all the info is dated nov and dec. All the cites say the same it’s on the come but nothing comming. If these programs are done like they claim they are why can’t someone just give a specifice date when it will be released so that we don’t have to run to our computers every day to see if it’s been released yet? Me and I’m sure meny others would like to have a specifice date that we could go to our computer and know that the unlock is there rather than having people pulling our dork and saying it’s on the come when they don’t even know. When I bought the phone it had all ready been updated but I thought I had got a really good deal but it not looking like that now! come on dev team and geohot give us a specifice date or tell us were screwed. One or the other but don’t keep us hanging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeez you lot. Why buy an iphone in the first place if you rely on other people to hack it for you?
At least wait for a Jailbreak/unlock before going out and spending hundreds of $$$’s knowing it wont work!!!!!!
