Easiest Rooting For Droid X: One Click Rooting Solution
A smart guy at AllDroid has managed to develop a one click rooting solution for Motorola Droid X. The method which allows a user to root and unroot Droid X is getting very good early feedbacks and hence is safe your handset.
The solution is currently compatible with Windows machine only and requires 3.5 framework which is there by default on Vista and Windows 7.
The process is very simple and explained below:
2) Extract all the folders and then run.
3) There are just two buttons “Root” And “UnRoot”. Follow the instructions on the screen and you will get your Droid X rooted.
4) Make sure you have USB debugging enabled under System->Applications->Development ON YOUR Droid X.
5) If it doesn’t root and you are turning Bluetooth on and off, try turning WiFi on/off instead!
Note: Make sure you press allow when Superuser.apk pops up on your phone.
