Motorola Droid X is a huge smartphone from the company behind the most popular Android phone the Motorola Droid. The Droid X is all over the news, mainly because of its 4.3 inch screen size, which is same as that of HTC EVO.

According to blog site Gadget University, which got their hands on a Droid X, the screen is awesome and the colors are much better than the Droid. No AMOLED screen but possibly the same type of IPS screen used on the Droid. Recently Steve Jobs while launching the iPhone 4 gave a lecture on why the company avoided OLED screen in favor of an IPS.

The Droid X also boasts an improved version of Moto Blur called “Shadow BLUR”, which is¬† a push based service focused on social networking developed by Motorola¬† for their Android-powered mobile phones.

The main features of Motorola X:

  • 4.3 inch screen
  • Android 2.1
  • 750Mhz TI OMAP3630 processor
  • Hardware Nagivation Keys
