Apple solves the problem by limiting the multitasking. Apple doesn’t multi task where it should. Android multitasks where it shouldn’t. Somewhere between the two is the right ansewr. You may not need dual core chips to do the job right.

Right now I’m debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, go to Dash for the EVO, or stay with AT&T for the Captivate…selections, decisions.

There is a complete sub-business within the subject of the mobile cellphone industry area related to the jailbreak or unlocking of the mobile phones so that they can be employed on any mobile network, and recent Supreme Court selections in the USA handed down have confirmed that the jailbreak business is legal and legitimate. That is, end-consumer buyers are really within their legal rights to do what they desire to their cellular mobile phone handset to allow the cellphone to do the job on other network carriers which is commonly recognized as jailbreak or unlocking the network block.
