BlackBerry users may feel under privileged in comparison to the number of apps available to android and iPhone owners. A new Twitter app developed by RIM and Twitter will give some relief to app starved Blackberry users.
Features include:
- Real-time push of Twitter direct messages
- Camera and photo gallery integration
- Browser integration for Web links in “tweets,”
- Personalize interface for changing fonts, hiding tool bars, etc.
- Inbox integration, read your Twitter direct messages along side your email and text messages
- Search for users, content, and trending topics
- Language Support includes French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Brazilian Portuguese
According to a member of Twitter’s products and marketing team, the Twitter app for BlackBerry is a joint effort of RIM and Twitter. The app is free and can be downloaded from the following link: blackberry.com/twitter
