Sony Ericsson T707 Review: Sharapova Phone
Sony Ericsson T707 is a new flip phone code named Elle and because of the official endorsement of tennis player Maria Sharapova T707 is now famous as sharapova phone.
Available in three colors mysterious black, spring rose and lucid blue Sony Ericsson is mainly targeting ladies customers. The light effects, the stealthy external screen and the ripple-and-circle patterns inside give this otherwise modest mid-ranger a distinct personality and visual appeal. The Sony Ericsson T707 handset truly interacts with the user – it lights up when you receive a call and you can personalise the light settings to each of your friends. If you are too busy to answer, simply end the call with a wave of your hand over the screen – you can also do the same gesture to snooze the alarm.
Sony Ericsson T707 is midrange phone with features like a 3.2-megapixel camera, a music player, stereo Bluetooth, an FM radio, a personal organizer, USB mass storage, PC syncing, a voice recorder, and a speakerphone. It also supports Sony Ericsson’s gesture control feature, which allows you to control some calling functions and the alarm clock by waving your hand across a sensor on the T707′s front face. And as a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) and tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100) handset, it will supports calling and 3G networks around the world.
A full media player is included, with support for a wide variety of digital music formats, including the ever present MP3, AAC and WMA. The video player will replay video content in MP4 format, and also supports Microsoft’s WMV format. Also, one of the redeeming features of Sony Ericsson handsets, Track ID, is also included on the T707. Messaging is well covered on this phone. I think it’s clearly been established that the T707 is for young girls, who like to keep in touch. To that end, as well as a built in email client, the T707 offers a threaded SMS view, so text conversations are presented in a similar manner to conversations that are had over MSN or Yahoo messenger.
